Editorial methodology

Useful information,
visible sources.

Each page combines reproducible technical data with identified editorial content. Here we explain where the information comes from, the limits of the service and how we handle corrections.

01

Time and time zones

The main clock and city clocks try to sync with server time, allowing for estimated communication delay. The interface identifies this estimate; if synchronization is unavailable, it indicates that it is using the device clock. This is not a guarantee of atomic-clock precision. The Unix converter uses the device clock.

The clocks use identifiers from the international IANA Time Zone Database. The browser applies the time zone's current rules, including seasonal clock changes where applicable.

We do not treat a fixed UTC offset as a substitute for a time zone. Government rules may change; for flights, reservations and critical appointments, also confirm with the responsible official source.

02

Cities and geographic data

Place names, administrative divisions, coordinates and population estimates are based on GeoNames. This data helps identify the correct city and does not represent a real-time population count.

Orbilora identifies the geographic source on its pages and reviews inconsistencies when it receives a verifiable public reference.

03

Local guides

Published guides draw on official tourism, transport and local administration sources, listed at the end of each guide. The selection aims to explain areas and practical uses; it is not a hotel or restaurant ranking.

Review dates and editorial notes will be expanded as the catalogue grows. Content without sufficient editorial research is not presented as a complete guide.

04

Advertising and independence

Advertising, partnerships and sponsored content will always be identified. An advertiser cannot buy a position in a recommendation presented as independent.

Commercial placements are planned after the main information, without overlays, autoplay video or obstructing mobile lookups.
